My First NFL Game!

I am a South Carolinian working in Florida. This was the perfect game for my first NFL experience. The Buccaneers were doing free Stadium Club upgrades during this game and I lucked out!!! My upgraded seat was under the third floor level overhang and I stayed nice and dry as I enjoyed the game, in spite of the on again off again wet weather. Raymond James stadium is amazing with the pirate ship in the end zone and the cannons going off for Bucs points. The live experience is unbeatable! Mike Alstott was inducted into the Tampa Bay ring of honor during half time. That was also a great experience. The Tampa Bay organization gave every ticket holder a gold coin to commemorate the event. I would most assuredly recommend attending a Tampa Bay Buccaneer game if given the opportunity!

a few concerns

pre-paid parking listed a row and slot, as if a space was assigned, like at the Superdome.. but that was not the case. still parking was relatively close, if the signage for lot 14 was a bit lacking not one of the concession stands had anything that remotely resembled dessert.. no m&ms, cookies, licorice etc. having a ticket for seat 1, signs directed me one way, yet usher directed me another way. signs were correct home field advantage with replays, choosing not to show one that might have indicated TB failure to make a first down, and cutting out of another replay early to not show a possible penalty

Buccaneers game on NewYear’s eve was Great!

The experience was so much fun. We had VIP parking which was a bit difficult to get to using Waze because some of the blocked streets and turns weren’t accounted for, but with some directions from the very friendly police, we got there. The stadium is very nice with plenty of concession stands so there is never a long wait, even at halftime! Fun stuff goes on during the commercial breaks so you never get bored. As a bonus, the game was awesome with the Bucs pulling out a fantastic win over the Saints to wrap up what was a disappointing season to some fans. We were lucky and they were 2-0 in the games we attended this year!

The game was great

It is a shame that before you are allowed in the gates there is not one vendor selling water or anything other than Tampa Buc gear. If someone did not realize this is Florida and water is very important to the people that are standing in line to get in. With in one hour I personally saw 4 people drop down to the ground overheated and paramedics had to come get them. A very simple solution and even a way for the stadium to make more money would be to have some concession stands around the exterior of stadium to provide paying customers some relief. Never again will I go there for that reason.

Couldn't get parking after half time so we missed the second

So totally disappointed in the experience. We knew we would be getting to the game around half time because we had to leave a family event in NOLA to make the home game, season opener on Sunday. Because of our flight we knew that we would be missing the first half of the game but no where (that I can find) does it say that ALL parking is blocked at half time, we couldn't get any parking to go see the second half. Drove around for over half an hours looking and then finally just watched the game from a restaurant. If I purchased tickets then I should have access until the game is over. This was my fiances first Bucs game and it was ruined. I have spoken to so many people that have never heard about the parking issue. Really turned us off Raymond James Stadium.

So Loud!!

It is quite different watching a game at the stadium instead of on the TV!! Sometimes things would happen so f-a-s-t that I would have to watch the jumbotron to catch the action!! There were 2 guys right in front of us who had a bit too much to drink and were VERY verbal!! It is more exciting being at the stadium than home but at least at home you can control the volume!! :-) Restrooms were clean, staff very pleasant, food VERY expensive, picnic tables by section 135 were very welcome! My husband loved every minute of it! So glad he could experience it!!

Great Game - Best Stadium

We started by tailgating in HCC lot. We missed the turn into the closer lot, which I paid for, but it was fine further away too. I couldn’t find my parking pass. I called the number linked on my bank account and was helped right away. The line to get in RJS moved swiftly, having tickets ready helped. They had a bag policy but I did see some with larger ones inside so they must have not been too strict. Our seats were on the east side of the ship - which means a lot of sun! But with the game time change we were good after an hour. The ship make it an elevated experience and just proud to be a Buc. It was a great game and ending with a W helped.
